Dr. Dave Russ picked up the guitar at age 7. He put it down, frustrated with "Twinkle, Twinkle," and didn’t pick it up again until age 17, when he promptly began playing Pink Floyd songs. Midwinter Jicker is his first recording experience.

Dr. Dave joined ComedySportz in 2000, fulfilling his longtime goal of being silly in front of large crowds of people.

Dr. Dave is a chiropractor, teacher, and is currently on the faculty of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he is the Chairman of the Physical Medicine department. He loves living in Portland with his partner Megan and their cats, Jezebel and Barley Roy.
